Question 1

Will the editor be the same as Weebly?

Accepted Answer

Similar, but much easier. We use AI-powered, prompt-based updates, so you can ask for changes in plain English instead of dragging boxes around. The CMS admin editor is included with every plan at no extra charge, so you can manage your site like Weebly — and do even more — from any device. Once you sign up, your login is activated after your migration request is submitted and we will send you the details.

Question 2

I don't have a Weebly website — can I still sign up?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SGWebGo is not only for Weebly owners. If you have no Weebly account, choose "I don't have a Weebly account" when you search for your site and we will set up a brand-new website for you instead of a migration — same Singapore hosting, free SSL, backups and the AI-powered CMS editor, on a free yourname.sgwebgo.com address or on your own domain. Tell us about your business in the comments and we will confirm the scope and price before any work starts.

Question 3

My website was not found when I searched — what should I do?

Accepted Answer

Our search only covers Singapore Weebly sites we already know about, so a miss does not mean you cannot join. If you do have a Weebly site, choose "I do have a Weebly website" and continue — we verify it manually. If you do not have one, choose "I don't have a Weebly account" and we will build you a new site. Either way you can email the Axon Help Desk at support@axon.com.sg and we will check it for you.

Question 4

Will my website look different after the migration?

Accepted Answer

No. On the SGWebGo URL and SGWebGo Connect Domain plans you get the same website — the same design, the same pages, the same text and the same images. Only the web address changes: yourfirm.weebly.com becomes yourfirm.sgwebgo.com. If you already use your own domain, even the address stays exactly the same. Want to compare with your old site later? The Internet Archive Wayback Machine keeps snapshots of most Weebly sites — just enter your weebly.com address there.

Question 5

What exactly changes on the SGWebGo URL plan?

Accepted Answer

The address only. Your site is rebuilt like for like on our Singapore hosting with free SSL, backups and a CMS admin login, and it keeps the same look, layout and content as your Weebly site. Nothing about your design is redesigned on this plan.

Question 6

What does the SGWebGo Connect Domain plan change?

Accepted Answer

Nothing about the site itself. It is the same like-for-like website as the SGWebGo URL plan, with your own domain name connected to it and free SSL issued, so visitors keep using the domain they already know.

Question 7

What does SGWebGo Connect + Modernise change?

Accepted Answer

Modernise keeps the same concept, the same framework and the same pages as your existing Weebly site — we do not invent a new website. What changes is the design: a refreshed, modern, mobile-first look built on your existing structure and content, plus your own domain connected.

Question 8

Do I get SEO, AEO and GEO optimisation?

Accepted Answer

SEO, AEO and GEO work applies only to the SGWebGo Connect + Modernise plan and to Custom Website / Advanced Features plans. On the SGWebGo URL, SGWebGo Connect Domain and Free Forever plans your existing content is carried over as it is, without search, answer-engine or AI-visibility optimisation.

Question 9

What if I want new pages, new content or extra features?

Accepted Answer

Anything beyond the scope of your plan — new pages, rewritten content, e-commerce, bookings, integrations, logo or branding work, or a complete redesign — is treated as an add-on and quoted separately. Just tell us what you have in mind, or email support@axon.com.sg, and we will price it before any work starts.

Question 10

What does the Free Forever plan include (and not include)?

Accepted Answer

Included: a free yourname.sgwebgo.com address and a like-for-like migration of your existing website, with hosting, SSL, daily backups and a CMS admin login. For verified students, Axon Gives Back also includes free guidance and assistance on AI, websites and digital technology to support your education and skills development. Not included: a domain name — the Free Forever plan does not come with a domain, and if you want your own domain (for example yourbusiness.com or .com.sg) you must purchase and pay for that domain yourself, and the connection is handled on a paid plan. Any other request — modernise, redesign, new pages, SEO/AEO/GEO work, e-commerce, bookings or integrations — is not included, but will be quoted at a subsidised rate for verified students, non-profits, charitable organisations and approved single parents. Write to support@axon.com.sg and we will confirm the scope and price before any work starts.

Question 11

Does the Free Forever plan include a domain name?

Accepted Answer

No. Free means free hosting and a free yourname.sgwebgo.com address — it does not include a domain name. Domains are bought from a registrar and renewed yearly at the registrar's price, and that cost is always yours. If you already own a domain or buy one, connecting it to your migrated site is done under the paid Connect Domain plan.

Question 12

Is Weebly really shutting down free websites?

Accepted Answer

Weebly has been steadily winding down its free website tier. Many Singapore businesses still rely on a free weebly.com address, and those pages can be switched off with very little notice. Migrating now protects your content and your customers.

Question 13

What happens if I do nothing?

Accepted Answer

If your free site is deactivated, your pages, enquiry forms and search rankings disappear with it. Customers searching for you will find a dead link.

Question 14

Is SGWebGo connected to Weebly?

Accepted Answer

No. SGWebGo is an independent migration service by Axon.com.sg. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Weebly or Square, Inc.

Question 15

Will I lose my content?

Accepted Answer

No. We copy your pages, text, images and contact details across and give you a private preview before anything goes live.

Question 16

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Most migrations are completed within a few working days of your request. Larger or custom sites take a little longer and we will tell you upfront.

Question 17

Do I need technical knowledge?

Accepted Answer

None at all. Send us your current address and preferred new name — our Singapore team does the rest.

Question 18

Can I make changes after go-live?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Send us your changes and we will apply them. A simple self-service editor for customers is on the way.

Question 19

What is the Axon Web Go Ecosystem?

Accepted Answer

The Axon Web Go Ecosystem is the family of country-specific web addresses run by Axon.com.sg on one shared platform: SGWebGo.com (Singapore), MYWebGo.com (Malaysia), HKWebGo.com (Hong Kong), TWWebGo.com (Taiwan), THWebGo.com (Thailand), KRWebGo.com (South Korea), JPWebGo.com (Japan), SAWebGo.com (Saudi Arabia), VNWebGo.com (Vietnam), KHWebGo.com (Cambodia), IDWebGo.com (Indonesia), INWebGo.com (India), PKWebGo.com (Pakistan), BDWebGo.com (Bangladesh), LKWebGo.com (Sri Lanka), NPWebGo.com (Nepal), PHWebGo.com (Philippines), UAEWebGo.com (United Arab Emirates), AUWebGo.com (Australia) and NZWebGo.com (New Zealand). Every address uses the same Weebly migration service, the same Singapore-based hosting mirrored to Tokyo and Germany, free SSL, daily backups and the same AI-powered CMS editor, at the same yearly price in SGD.

Question 20

Can I choose any country domain extension I want?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You are free to pick any extension in the Axon Web Go Ecosystem, no matter where your business is registered. A Singapore business can use HKWebGo.com, a Malaysian business can use SGWebGo.com, and a customer in the UAE can use UAEWebGo.com or SGWebGo.com — whichever reads best for your customers. We simply suggest the address that matches your country when you fill in the request form, and you can change it with one click. If the country you want is not listed yet, tell us in the request form and we will add it.

Question 21

Does the country extension change the price, speed or features?

Accepted Answer

No. Every address in the Axon Web Go Ecosystem is served from the same infrastructure — servers in Singapore, mirrored to Tokyo and Germany through Cloudflare — and includes hosting, free SSL, daily backups, the AI-powered CMS admin login and Axon Help Desk support. Pricing is identical in SGD across all countries: SGD 25 a year for the WebGo URL plan, SGD 45 for Connect Domain and SGD 65 for Connect + Modernise.

Question 22

What is a .sgwebgo.com address?

Accepted Answer

It is a free web address in the format yourbusiness.sgwebgo.com, included with every plan — or the same thing on any other Web Go extension, such as yourbusiness.hkwebgo.com or yourbusiness.mywebgo.com. You can check availability in our lookup tool.

Question 23

Can I use my own domain name?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In the request form you can tell us whether your domain is already connected, owned but not yet connected, something you would like us to help you buy, or whether you prefer to stay on the free address.

Question 24

Do you help with domain purchase?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tick the option in the request form and we will quote for registration and setup.

Question 25

How do I connect my own domain to SGWebGo?

Accepted Answer

At your domain registrar (or wherever your DNS is managed), point your domain to us. Preferred setup: create a CNAME (or ALIAS / ANAME) record for @ (the root, e.g. yourbusiness.com.sg) pointing to connect.sgwebgo.com, and a CNAME record for www also pointing to connect.sgwebgo.com. If your DNS provider does not support CNAME, ALIAS or ANAME at the root, use an A record for @ with the value 161.97.137.234 and keep the www CNAME pointing to connect.sgwebgo.com. Behind the scenes connect.sgwebgo.com points to origin.sgwebgo.com, which points to our server IP 161.97.137.234. Remove or update any old A or CNAME records for @ and www that still point to Weebly, then tell us the domain and we will finish the setup and issue a free SSL certificate. DNS changes usually take between 15 minutes and a few hours, and up to 48 hours in rare cases. Not sure? We will assist with the DNS connection and SSL for you — and never send registrar passwords by email or WhatsApp: create an encrypted, self-destructing link at https://secret.axonserver.com/ and share only that link with us.

Question 26

Do I get a hosting control panel, FTP or SSH access?

Accepted Answer

No. SGWebGo is a website building and website management service, not a hosting account — there is no cPanel or hosting panel, no FTP and no SSH access, and no databases or email hosting to manage yourself. We look after hosting, SSL, backups and updates for you, and you edit your website content through the CMS admin login. If you specifically need your own control panel, FTP or SSH access, just write to us at support@axon.com.sg and we can convert you to a shared hosting plan on our servers in Asia, Europe or the Americas, so you can pick the location with the best latency for your visitors.

Question 27

What does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Promo pricing: SGWebGo URL SGD 25 a year (normal SGD 50), SGWebGo Connect Domain SGD 45 a year (normal SGD 90) and SGWebGo Connect + Modernise SGD 65 a year (normal SGD 130). The promo price locks in for you if you submit your migration request on or before 15 September 2026, and it stays at that same promo price every year you renew — there is no price increase after the first year. Sign-ups submitted after 15 September 2026 pay the normal price. All plans include hosting, SSL, backups, a CMS admin login and Axon Help Desk support at support@axon.com.sg. The Free Forever Plan is available for verified students, non-profits and charitable organisations; students also receive free guidance and assistance on AI, websites and digital technology from Axon as part of Axon Gives Back. Custom work is quoted separately.

Question 28

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Accepted Answer

There is no refund or cancellation once migration work has begun because we are migrating your site to SGWebGo for free — you are only paying the ongoing yearly hosting, security, support and CMS access fee. If you want to stop using the service, you must submit a cancellation request at least one month before your next renewal date. We will then stop the renewal and help you export your content or point your domain elsewhere.

Question 29

When do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Only after we confirm your request and you are happy to proceed. Nothing is charged when you submit the form.

Question 30

How do I reach you?

Accepted Answer

Email the Axon Help Desk at support@axon.com.sg — this is our main support channel for every plan and every question. WhatsApp support is included with the SGWebGo Connect Domain and Connect + Modernise plans; on the SGWebGo URL plan, Free Forever plan and general enquiries, please write to support@axon.com.sg. We are a Singapore team, so you speak to a real person locally.
